Dr. Langhough is the associate director of WRAP research with the Wisconsin Alzheimer's Institute of the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health; she is also affiliated with the Wisconsin Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center. She collaborates on grants, research projects, mentoring, and teaching related to biostatistics, Alzheimer's disease biomarkers, and subclinical cognitive decline.
Dr. Langhough engages in interdisciplinary research primarily related to understanding longitudinal change in cognition and Alzheimer's biomarkers. She has led and participated in development or application of methods to identify subclinical cognitive decline and identification of onset and accumulation of biomarkers such as amyloid and tau. Her research interests also include understanding novel predictors of change as well as identifying factors associated with onset of Alzheimer's pathology and resilient cognitive aging. She also enjoys research related to survey development and educational measurement.
