Description

Your Aging Brain and Alzheimer's Disease

Tuesday, November 13th at the Blackhawk Church, Middleton

The Wisconsin ADRC will present a free educational lecture entitled, “Your Aging Brain and Alzheimer’s Disease.”  This lecture will distinguish between what is normal aging and what is dementia.  It will also discuss how to recognize when there is a problem and the latest research on how to maintain brain health. Lastly, the audience will be engaged in learning new diagnostic advancements through the use of imaging techniques and procedures in analyzing important biomarkers through spinal fluid analyses.

Each year we partner with the community in providing this free educational event, which brings the newest information regarding diagnostics, treatment, and prevention of Alzheimer’s disease.  The event is free and open to the public. CEU credits are offered at no cost. 5:00-6:00pm there is an hour long resource fair, followed by presentations beginning at 6:00pm-8:30pm.
